We are currently looking for a Senior Search Marketing Analyst to join our team.

This role would suit a search marketer with leadership abilities who has ambitions to move into a full management position. The role involves:

  • Helping supervise a team of 5 search analysts.
  •  Carrying out hands-on paid search and SEO work for high profile clients.
  • Assisting in the ongoing development of commpany processes and delivery of staff training.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

SEO:

  • Website search engine compatibility audits – analysis, documentation and advising of solutions to issues identified.
  • Keyword research.
  • On-page optimization, including copy writing.
  • Implementing link building campaigns including directory submissions, article syndication, online PR, social media, & direct link requests.
  • Tracking and analyzing campaign performance and ongoing campaign management.
  • Preparation of client reports and participation in client meetings.

Paid Search Advertising:

  • Campaign set-up and management.
  • Keyword research.
  • Advertisement copywriting and CTR optimisation using split testing.
  • Landing page design and optimisation using split and multi-variate testing.
  • Site placement/contextual display advertising.
  • Hands on pro-active management to maximize campaign performance in terms of cost, traffic and conversions.
  • Tracking and analysis of campaign performance.
  • Preparation of client reports and participation in client meetings.

Team management:

  •  Provision of assistance and mentoring to junior staff as required.
  • Assistance in the quality control of junior staff work.
  • Work with the Search Operations Manager in the delivery and design of training.
  • Work with the Search Operations Manager in the development of internal systems and processes.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree (preferably in a business or media related subject).
  • Google AdWords Certification.
  • Minimum 2 (preferably 3) years experience working for a search marketing agency or in a search marketing role within an organisation.
  • Additional area of expertise such as Google Analytics, web design, Google Website Optimizer or social search preferred.
