On March 20 SureFire’s SME business division was sold to ReachLocal Inc. SureFire has been the exclusive reseller of ReachLocal services in NZ since 2011.
NASDAQ listed ReachLocal is a global provider of local online marketing solutions for small to medium sized businesses.
During the last 3 years SureFire’s SME division has grown rapidly and we’re proud of what the team achieved in that time. All 26 staff from the SME team have transferred to ReachLocal who are opening an office in Auckland.
SureFire itself has not been sold. The company’s Consulting Division which provides search marketing services for medium to large organisations is not affected. The team is unchanged and for that side of SureFire it’s business as usual.
Our primary focus since starting back in 2002 has been on providing search marketing services for medium to large organisations. And that is our focus moving forward.
Mark is a Partner and Senior Consultant at SureFire which he founded back in 2002. Prior to establishing SureFire he worked for KPMG Consulting. Today Mark heads up SEO, embracing the challenges that can come with complex website implementations. Outside of work, his interests beyond his family are running, snowsports, diving and fishing (badly).
