With three million active advertisers on its platform, Facebook has launched a simple video creation tool to help boost engagement.
The “Your Business Story” tool is hardly groundbreaking technology: essentially, it simply creates a video slideshow from eight chosen images with the ability to add music and text. However, the use of video does increase client engagement and the simplicity of the tool will make it quick and easy for businesses to create a simple promotional video in just three steps.

Why should you care?
This simple tool is very basic and a little gimmicky in its current form, while messaging options are limited. However, it can, and most likely will, be expanded and businesses could use it to create simple, effective, video advertising on Facebook as well as share stories and updates in a format that is far more engaging than static imagery.
