Over-extended? New Promotion Extensions are coming

E-commerce sites will like this one: a new AdWords Promotion extension (now in beta) looks set for imminent release.

Like other AdWords extensions, Promotion extensions add another line of promotional copy below your ad. Use it to advertise a specific discount or offer, but note that there is a 20-character limit.

Why should you care?

Not all AdWords beta tests make it to final release, but tests to date indicate this one’s a keeper.

We see this new ad extension most useful in adding Promo codes, but do wish that (like Sitelinks) you could set a start and end date for them.
