Entertaining advertising

If you liked Sacha Baron Cohen’s movie “The Dictator”, then you’ll love the latest humorous ad campaign from New Zealand power company, Powershop.

This is the latest in their series of dictator-themed ad campaigns which have included Saddam Hussein, Chairman Mao, Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong-Un. In these politically correct days there always seem to be people who are readily offended & consequently Powershop have taken flack for some of their past campaigns.

Good on Ari Sargent and his team at Powershop for sticking to their guns and not taking the safe option.  Powershop’s offerings are distinctly different to other power companies and so their ads need to be too.
